What is Director Nomination?
Under section 49 of the Legal Metrology Act, the company has been allowed to nominate any of its director or any officer of the establishment or branch or unit as a person responsible who has the authority for planning and controlling the activities will be held responsible for the conduct of the business of the company and in case no person has been nominated by the company then every person who at the time the offence was committed will be held responsible under Legal Metrology Act.
